Blue Monday by Orgy
Tess went in to have her baby today. She's been in labor since saturday, but the doc keeps sending her home. The big event was supposed to have happened today. She's going to call.
Chris is preparing to go to Kings Point, NY for a couple of weeks (He has to attend certain classes for Navy Reserves). Not all the arragements have been made as of yet but I know I won't see him for at least 12 days.
As a result, he's been spending a lot of time here lately. Yeah, it's nice, but my sleeping schedule has totally gone to shit. I feel so zoned out right now...
I'd like to say "hello" to my friend Doug. Good luck with the job search, big brother! ;)
Kylie has a new obsession: shuffle board. There's a board down at the Legion, we've recently discovered. She taught Chris and I how to play Monday night. T'was great fun (We kicked Kylie & Jess' ass!).
Got a phone call from my land lord's wife today. Apparently, the rent rates have gone up all of a sudden. Only $10, but, still. That is money that could be used elsewhere (like keeping an ongoing source of caffiene in my refridgerator, for instance).
Actually, I don't know how I have managed it but I haven't been spending all the much money lately. Today is payday and I've still got a large amount of my last paycheck in the bank. Of course, none of my bills have come through yet. Once that happens everything will change. I have done well with keeping up, though. All I have left to send money for this month is cable and a credit card payment. I've just taken care of everything else.
There are some other things I need to take care of around here, but I'm just too tired. Laundry, grocery shopping, general cleaning...
And I have to work tonight. Ugh. What happened to those 2 days I had off?
